Easter Treats

Oh does it feel good to blog again.  I have been fortunate enough to get my own craft room and we have spent time painting and putting it together.  It’s now set up so I can craft and blog but it is still a work in progress.

I saw this awesome idea from Pootles and just had to make my own version.

Here’s how I made this project…

Designer Series Paper 11″ x 3 1/2″

Score on the long side at 1/2″, 1 1/4″, 9 3/4″, 10 1/2″

Score on the short side at 3/4″, 1 1/2″, 2 1/4″, 3″

I used the Word Window Punch from Stampin Up to punch a window.  You could use anything that will fit in the space.  I also used the flower from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack and added a rhinestone to the center.

I would love to see your version of this project.  Feel free to link it up here or post it on my Facebook Page here.

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Treat Cup Treat Holders

I came across this idea on YouTube (check it out here).  Cute and simple!  My niece and nephew seemed to like them….but what child doesn’t like candy!!

Mr. Cricut Crazy – Design Team Wednesday

Today the Design Team is using the Simply Everything Vol. 2 stamp set from Mr. Cricut Crazy.  I decided to make a different type of project.  I got my inspiration from Becky at Inking Idaho.  Here's my project…

Don’t forget to stop by Carolanne: www.loganscraftymomma.com/ to see what she created this week.

I made this tea bag holder at a stamp club that I go to every month.  What a great idea and so simple to make.  You could also fit a gift card or some other small treat in there as well.

I am not sure the picture does it justice but there is a tea bag inside that I am soooo tempted to rip out and drink myself.

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Another Christmas Lotion Holder

First of all I have to thank Nicole from Canadian Nickel Scrap'n so THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!  She created my new Blog Button!!  So grab my button and let Nicole know what a great job she did!!

Now on to my project for today.  It's another Christmas Lotion Holder like the project I made yesterday but I tried to modify it even more with adding a lip gloss to the hand lotion.

Christmas Lotion Holder

I am sure many of you have seen this type of project before.  I did alter mine just a little.  Add a clear bag with a bow and voila…cute little hostess gift!!

I also tried something a little different which I will post tomorrow!

Thanks to all that have left such nice comments from the Christmas Blog Hop!!  You all really made my day!

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Christmas Gift Card Holder

I have a couple gift card holders that I need to make for people for Christmas.  Here's a  quick one I made tonight.  This does fit in a regular A2 size envelope.

Here's the inside..ignore the Costco card….I was testing it out!

I have to admit that I am not 100% happy with it.  But it is the first one I have made this way and now I know what I would change.

Until next time…have fun creating!!
