At the gender reveal party I wanted to come up with another “take away” for people that didn’t want the popcorn. I came up with this matchbook candy treat.
How cute are they??!!!
Until next time…have fun creating!

Last weekend we had a gender reveal party for my daughter and her boyfriend. Since no one knew (not even me) what the gender was I decided to make some pink and blue popcorn boxes.
I used the Popcorn Box Thinlits Dies and the Ready To Pop Stamp Set. You can get the dies and the stamp set in a bundle here.
I think they turned out super cute and to top it off my daughter loved them.

We just finished our Thanksgiving weekend. I am stuffed. This weekend I not only had Thanksgiving but we also had a birthday in our house and we did a gender reveal party for my daughter. We also had a birthday on the Thursday. Can you say busy!!!
I did manage to do a fair bit of crafting though. Here is what I made for the Thanksgiving dinner guests….
I used the gable box die from Lawn Fawn, a stamp set from My Creative Time and the Decorative Label Punch from Stampin’ Up.
I think they turned out super cute!

I have had a kit from Stampin’ Up called the Perfectly Wrapped Project Kit for some time now. You can find it here.
I decided to make the smaller box, add some treats and take it to a girls night dinner.
I was impressed with how they turned out.
See….pretty cute.

Kay Flipps recently sent me a message asking me for instructions to my Matchbook Mints I recently posted. I thought I would try to do some sort of tutorial for her. Here goes nothing…
Card stock measures 2″ x 5 5/8″. Score on the long side at 1/2″, 3″, 3 1/4″.
Fold on the score lines. In the picture below, I have stapled the “short” end. You can easily add adhesive to your treat and attach it inside then fold the card stock over and tuck it into the end.
Or you can tuck in your treat before you staple the bottom. This would also secure the treat inside.
All that is left to do is embellish the front cover. Here are some ideas I came up with…

I guess I shouldn’t really call these “treats”…
These were made using the new Stampin Up Sweet & Sassy Framelits and the Star Framelits. The sentiment comes from the Perfect Wrapped stamp set. Super cute and super easy.

I recently got some individually wrapped brownies from Costco. I made a whole bunch of packages for my nieces dance group. Here is the project…
I would love to see what sort of “treats” you have made. Send me an email or post on my facebook page.
The stamp set is from My Creative Time called Just Simply Live. The paper is from Stampin Up in the Brights Collection.
Super easy and super cute!

Oh does it feel good to blog again. I have been fortunate enough to get my own craft room and we have spent time painting and putting it together. It’s now set up so I can craft and blog but it is still a work in progress.
I saw this awesome idea from Pootles and just had to make my own version.
Here’s how I made this project…
Designer Series Paper 11″ x 3 1/2″
Score on the long side at 1/2″, 1 1/4″, 9 3/4″, 10 1/2″
Score on the short side at 3/4″, 1 1/2″, 2 1/4″, 3″
I used the Word Window Punch from Stampin Up to punch a window. You could use anything that will fit in the space. I also used the flower from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack and added a rhinestone to the center.
I would love to see your version of this project. Feel free to link it up here or post it on my Facebook Page here.

My niece recently had a dance competition. I thought I would make a whole bunch of treats for the girls and maybe some for the moms.
Here is what I came up with…
My sister had a chuckle when I showed them to her. She advised me that her dance mom group name was Woo Hoo. I had no idea! So it made it even more interesting.
