Quick & Easy Birthday Package

Here’s a quick and easy way to package up a birthday present.  It’s a chinese take-out box.  Inside I was able to fit a “big boy” wallet for my nephew.  I used the XL Label Dies from My Creative Time.

I think it turned out super cute.

Just For You

Today I got to dust off the cricut and do some crafting.  I have to say I wasn't feeling the mojo like I used to.  But I grabbed my Straight From the Nest cricut cartridge and saw this cute owl and knew I had to cut it out.  I also used My Creative Time's Just Simply Live set.

I love how it turned out.  Super cute if you asked me.  Now if only I had some action wobbles…that would have made it even cuter!!

Wishing You A Speedy Recovery

Just a cute and simple card tonight.  I had a "fun" trip to the dentist to fix a tooth I chipped and just wasn't feeling the mojo tonight.  However….I am happy with this card.

A Tag for Logan

Here is the second tag I made to go with the finished pencil holders.

P1020024

I used My Creative Time's Tag Dies along with the Anyday Bingo & Crossword.  I also used a couple of punches to create the lego.

I love how it turned out.  It was super easy.  This original idea was not mine.  I have seen many cards and tags created using the lego.  Here is the most recent one I looked at which I created my tag from.

Super Simple Tag

This past weekend I was a creating machine!  I wanted to use up some scraps I had lying around on my craft table so I decided to make some simple things.  Even my pizza box from yesterday was made using what was on my table.  Today is one of a few tags I made.

Today I decided to use Nifty Fifties, Go Canada and Life's a Party Cricut Cartridges.

For my first projects I decided to make two different shape cards.

The first one is made using Life's a Party for the base.  This can be found on page 27 and is cut out with my gypsy at 4.65".  The layers are also cut out at 4.65".

The "Go Team" comes from the Go Canada Cricut Cartridge and is on page 23.  I cut this out at 2.06" and also used the shadow layer to make it pop.

For my second project I used the Life's a Party and Nifty Fifties Cricut Cartridges.  The base of my card come from Life's a Party on page 23 and is cut at 4.18".  I used the coordinating layer but hid the image on the layer.  I actually cut two of the layers out.  The first layer is cut at 4.18" and the second layer is cut at 3.94".  The image comes from Nifty Fifties and is cut at 3.94" along with all of the layers.  Here's my card…
