My Cricut Craft Room’s Festive Friday

Festive Friday Christmas

Last Festive Friday I created a Halloween Card so this time I decided to create a Christmas Card.

I used the Jolly Holidays Cricut Lite Cartridge.  How cute is she!!  I believe she is cut out at 3-3/4" but don't quote me as I forgot to write it down!!  The sentiment is from Stampin' Up's Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.

I also have to mention the "naked" buttons for Paula over at More Than Favors.  She is not a big fan of "naked" buttons.  In fact I was part of the Naked Button Blog Hop to show her what you can do with "naked" buttons!

Make sure you stop by My Cricut Craft Room to see with the other Design Team members have created for you today!!

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Happy Anniversary!!

Today is my in-laws anniversary and I thought I would make them a simple card.  My daughter picked out the "Mr & Mrs" from Tie the Knot cricut cartridge.  This was cut at 1.5".  The background is from Elegant Edges cartridge.  This is the leaves design using the oblong feature and the shadow feature cut at 4.5".

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Just a quick post tonight….I am in a couple of card swaps and this is my card for one of them.

Now onto the giveaway…my anniversary is coming up on Tuesday and I figured it was a good reason to do a giveaway.  All you have to do is leave a comment here and a way to get a hold of you.  I will pick the winner Tuesday night.

My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #2

The second challenge at My Pink Stamper was to make a card or scrapbook page using Kraft cardstock.   I thought I would make a Father's Day Card…why not get ahead of the game!

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Post-It Note Holder and Blog Candy Winner!!

Well I tried to post this yesterday but the battery on my camera died and I couldn't upload the pictures.

I saw this post-it note holder awhile back…long before I even thought of having a website and I wrote down the dimensions but did not write down where I got the idea from.  So here it is…

Now on to the WINNER of the blog candy…..

First I have to thank the people who also emailed with some very nice comments but asked not to be included in the blog candy.

I used to pick a winner and it is Lillian Child.  Make sure to stop by her blog!!

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day

If you want to win some blog candy you can click here and leave a comment.

Well I truly tried to be creative this weekend but it definately didn't go as planned.  I have been meaning to enter challenges this year and so far I have only entered one.  Then I saw the challenge Emma from My Creative Time had going on.  I wanted to make something a little different so I was trying to come up with many ideas but when I think of St. Patrick's Day I think of green beer.

I used the Gypsy Wanderings on my gypsy and the "foam" is from Create A Critter.  I also used two embossing folders.  While I am not 100% happy with my card my daughter loved it….so I guess that is all that matters.

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Action Wobble – Happy Birthday!!

Well I am so glad to finally have something to post!!  I have been quite sick for the last little bit.  So sick that I haven't even wanted to do any crafting at all!  So I am finally starting to feel better and today is such a special day that I had to share.

Today is my daughter's birthday!!!  She loves cupcakes so naturally I had to make her a cupcake card.  This was the first time I got to use the Action Wobbles.    What a lot of fun they are!!  She loved the card and couldn't stop playing with it.

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Rockin New Year Blog Hop!!

I was very honoured to be asked to join this Rockin New Year Blog Hop hosted by Jen at Simply Chic Design by Jen.  However, I didn't expect to get sick over the holidays!!  This means I left everything to the last minute….literally!  I wasn't going to let any little illness hold me back from participating with these very talented ladies but I have to admit I didn't have the creative mojo flowing!

My original thought when I was invited to this blog hop was to make a card for my friend who loves pink and purple and lots of bling…so I tried to stick with that.  Here's my simple card…I know my friend will love it cause she knows that I haven't been well.

Here's the list of the talented ladies in case you missed anyone…make sure you visit them all!!

Karey (That's ME!)

I do have some blog candy to give away!!  All you need to do to win is leave me a comment with a way I can reach you!
