Guest Designer – Peggy Sue from ICrea8Cards

Hi! It's Peggy Sue from ICrea8Cards and I am so honored to be a guest designer at Creative Craft Corner! Karey has some awesome projects on her blog so be sure to check them all out!! I made this mummy treat bag to hold a few special treats for my own "mummy". Oh how she loves her chocolates!!

I used cream colored paper and the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge to make a treat bag. I took the left over scraps of paper and ripped them into several long pieces. I then inked the edges with Tim Holtzs gathered twigs Distress Ink and adhered the strips onto the bag using my ATG gun. Next, I cut black circles for eyes and attached a googly eye to each. I tucked them into one of the strips so they were just peeking out. Instead of attaching a tag, I stamped the bottom strip with a sentiment from Pink By Design stamps. So easy, so fun!
Thank you Karey for having me today!!

Guest Designer – Alyssa from My Thoughts Exactly

Hi it's Alyssa from My Thoughts Exactly!! I made little matchbook Halloween treats!  I used a kit called Put a Spell on Me from Shop Pumpkin Spice (

I stamped the cute little guys on white paper and colored them in with colored pencil then cut them out by hand. I used my Big Shot and the Spellbinders Labels 8 die (the second size) to cut the fancy shape. The directions for making the matchbooks can be found in the Put a Spell on Me kit at Shop Pumpkin Spice. I stamped directly on the matchbooks using MTE stamps and white ink. (Little bags for treats also come in the kit).

Black – Recollections

Pattern – My Minds Eye Michievous

My Thoughts Exactly – Fright Night Phrases and Ghostly Greetings

Inkadinkaclings – Cute Ghouls

Versa Magic – Cloud white

Trendy Twine – Orange Licorice

I was playing with some of the cuts on the Holiday Cakes Cricut Cartridge and wanted to try out this pumpkin cut since one of the pumpkins matched some pattern paper I had.  I also used My Creative Time's Small Talk stamp set.

Until next time…have fun creating!!

My Cricut Craft Room’s Would You Ever Guess Wednesday!

Would you Ever Guess Wednesday

On Wednesdays the design team tries to show you different ways to use your cartridges. We might use a cake cartridge in our regular Cricut and show you how to make a paper creation with it. We might use just the feature keys on the cartridge to show you some extras that people forget about.

If you look at the back of the cartridge it shows you all of the 'put together' images. But there are always bonus 'features' they may be a font or a phrase or even a tag, card or icon. We just like to keep you guessing what will be next on Wednesdays.

Today I used the Holiday Cakes cake cartridge to make this Halloween Card.

Make sure to stop by My Cricut Craft Room to see what the other Design Team Members have created.

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Guest Designer – Sarah Pink Cricut

Hi everyone! Sarah, here from Pink Cricut– and I am so honored to be guest designing for Karey today!
When she asked me if I'd help her this week, I was more than happy to help out such a caring, sweet and talented lady.
Today, I have a fun Halloween treat idea- that you can easily do for a classroom of children, your work friends or your neighbors.
The best thing about these little bags- is that you can get them pre-made at the Dollar Tree, and 10 come in a package! You can't beat that!
I decorated each bag with Teresa Collins Halloween paper, a Scalloped punch, Pink by Design Stamps, We R Memory Keepers embellishments, and Divine Twine.
I used embossing powder on the pumpkin, spider and hat images. Since, I didn't have orange embossing powder, I just mixed yellow and red before pouring it on the embossing ink. I think it turned out a fun marbled orange. 🙂
Thank you for having me today Karey– sending BIG HUGS and SMILES your way today!! 🙂

Lookie at me I'm a Guest Designer over at Creative Craft Corner. Sometimes life can get in the way of all that crafty fun. Pesky life got in the way so here I am.

Hi everyone, I'm Nicole and my Blog is Canadian Nickel Scrap'n. If you have not heard of my blog (then you've been living under a rock) I created it to highlight Canadian crafters that blog. I have really enjoyed blogging for the last year and a half. Through my website I have met some amazing crafters including this awesome blog:) So here's so yummy Halloween for you. Easy Peasy:).

So here's my card I made for my get together with my craftastic girlfriends. Really…we need a name if anyone has a suggestion. This was the card I designed and we all made. Feelin the Halloween. The stamp set is a Stampin Up Halloween set from 2010. SO LOVE THIS ONE! The spooky paper is Martha Stewarts Halloween pak, including the glitter paper. I stamped and distressed the edges…spooky!

Welcome to My Cricut Craft Room’s October 100 Cartridge Blog Hop

You should have come from the talented…..Tanya
If you did not please start at the begining of the hop at
Now onto my projects…
I used the Love You A Latte cricut cartridge for the coffee cup.  This cup and all the layers were cut at 6.53 on my gypsy.  The sentiment is from My Creative Time's Gift Card Sentiments stamp set.
Isn't this cute??  I used the Bump In The Night cricut lite cartridge.  The monster was cut at 3 inches on my gypsy.  The sentiment is from Mr. Cricut Crazy's Halloween Town stamp set.  I had to stick the monster on an action wobble…..
For this next project I decided to use Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cricut cartridge and make this matchbox.  This was cut out a 4.88 on the gypsy.  I then used the Simply Charmed cricut cartridge to cut out the pumpkins at 1.59 on the gypsy.

I hope you enjoyed the projects.  Your next stop is Jenny R.  If you get lost along the way the list of the hop is below.
Until next time…have fun creating!!
