My Cricut Craft Room – Get Well Card

Today over at My Cricut Craft Room we could make a get well card or use embossing powders on our card.  I chose to make a Get Well Card.

I decided to make an A2 size card portrait style.  I used the Indie Art cartridge and cut the bandaid at 2.76" on my gypsy.  The center I put on a dimensional.  The little heart is also on a dimensional.  I used a small heart punch but you could easily find a heart on a cricut cartridge and cut it out.  The sentiment comes from My Creative Time's Pain Pain Go Away stamp set.  The clear buttons and punches to match are from Stampin' Up.  I was asking my daughter about the buttons and different choices when I came across my stash of the clear button from Stampin' Up.  I punched out the three shapes and laid the buttons over the shapes and asked my daughter her opinion.  Without a blink of an eye she said…."why don't you use the "x's" but take the one out of the middle and make it an "o" for hugs and kisses since you have a bandaid".  How cute was that!!!!  So….onto the project…..

So what do you think???  Cute idea eh?

Make sure to stop by My Cricut Craft Room and see what the other Design Team members have made today!

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Erica’s Craft Room 100 Cartridge January Blog Hop Day ONE!

Welcome to Erica's Craft Room
100 Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop
You should have started at http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/ if not please start at the beginning.

For my project I used the Sophisticated, Campin' Critters and Kate's ABCs Cricut Cartridges.

I like to try to challenge myself and use all three cartridges in one project so others are able to get an idea of different ways to use multiple cartridges together.  I also like to use my gypsy to lay everything out to see if my ideas will work or not.

The base of the card is from the Campin' Critters Cartridge and it's the sign feature on page 51.  I cut this out at 3.71".  The next layer is the sign layer which is also cut at 3.71".

The wording "Friends" comes from the Sophisticated Cartridge.  I used the base/shadow feature to cut out "friends" at 1.24".  I also cut out the phrase feature at 1.24".

Next comes the cute little kittens….they are from Kate's ABCs Cartridge.  I cut out the kittens and all the layers at 2.53".

Here is the finished project!!!

Next you should go to Jenny R's blog!

My friend Patty over at http://www.pattyscraftyspot.com/ has been so kind and is giving away two $5 gift certificates to her online store.  She does some amazing work and is so super sweet.  I will be picking one winner and Patty will be picking the second winner.  So you will have two chances to win!!

100% Sweetness

Boy does it ever feel good to craft again!!!  As like many of you I have been spending some awesome quality time with my family.  I was fortunate enough this year to get the time between Christmas and New Year's off from work so I made sure to put it to good use.

Today's project is pretty simple thanks to Emma from My Creative Time.  I used all of her products to create these mini hand sanitizer holders.

I will be doing a giveaway this weekend so make sure to stop by!

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Welcome to My Cricut Craft Room’s October 100 Cartridge Blog Hop

You should have come from the talented…..Tanya
If you did not please start at the begining of the hop at
Now onto my projects…
I used the Love You A Latte cricut cartridge for the coffee cup.  This cup and all the layers were cut at 6.53 on my gypsy.  The sentiment is from My Creative Time's Gift Card Sentiments stamp set.
Isn't this cute??  I used the Bump In The Night cricut lite cartridge.  The monster was cut at 3 inches on my gypsy.  The sentiment is from Mr. Cricut Crazy's Halloween Town stamp set.  I had to stick the monster on an action wobble…..
For this next project I decided to use Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cricut cartridge and make this matchbox.  This was cut out a 4.88 on the gypsy.  I then used the Simply Charmed cricut cartridge to cut out the pumpkins at 1.59 on the gypsy.

I hope you enjoyed the projects.  Your next stop is Jenny R.  If you get lost along the way the list of the hop is below.
Until next time…have fun creating!!

Friends To The End

I was in the card creating mood this weekend!  My cricut was working overtime but I think I made some cute cards.  Although you won't be able to see a couple of them until the weekend when I am in a blog hop at My Cricut Craft Room, I can share this cute card I made…

I used the scarecrow from Simply Charmed, the sentiment is from My Creative Time's Small Talk stamp set, the faux stitching is actually a stamp from My Creative Time's Gift Card Sentiments, the two different colours of twine are from Mr. Cricut Crazy and the cute little face is a Peachy Keen stamp from the Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment.

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Bananas 4 You – Cricut Cardz Challenge

Over at Cricut Cardz Challenge they are having a "Tuitti Fruitti" Challenge.  All you need to do is make a card using fruit, and you may use any cartridges, colours or occasion you'd like.  So I thought I would give it a try…

I used the Create a Critter cartridge for the banana and Robotz cartridge for the font.  Pretty cute I must say!!

Until next time…have fun creating!!
