My Cricut Craft Room – Card Creating Sundays

It's My Cricut Craft Room's Card Creating Sunday!!

One of my favourite days with My Cricut Craft Room.  Here's the card I made today.  Can you guess where the sentiment is from??

I used Create a Critter cricut cartridge for the monkey.  I just love that monkey!!  I also used a fancy paperclip from Wal-Mart to hang the monkey from.  The sentiment is from Pink By Design's Breast Wishes stamp set.

Make sure to stop by My Cricut Craft Room to see what the other Design Team members have made.

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Guest Designer for My Thoughts Exactly!!

I am so excited!!  Alyssa over at My Thoughts Exactly has asked me to be a guest designer.  She has a her own line of stamps that are fantastic!  I had so many ideas running through my head that it made it difficult to pick one sentiment but here is what I came up with…

I loved how cute the bee from Create a Critter was and then thought how cute would the bee be on an action wobble.

It sure is cute on the action wobble!

And how cute is that bee image!!  The bee and the sentiment are from the Birds and the Bees stamp set.  I love how you can mix and match the words to create your own sentiment.  When I was coming up with the sentiment I had my kids help me out with the stamps.  I asked them to pass me the word "day"…..I was told the only "day" was in the word "-lated birthday".  So I took the stamp "-lated birthday" and just inked up the "day" part of the stamp for my sentiment.  It was so easy to do with these stamps.

Now if I took a closer look at the stamps I would have seen the word "-day" at the top of the set but that's what happens when you have your kids help you with your project!!  So either way… if you use all of the words together or just ink up a part of a word to make it work for you….it's super easy.  I would love to see what senitments you come up with!

Make sure you stop by Alyssa's blog and tell her I sent you!!

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Card I Made For A RAK Swap

First let me say I have never been so stressed out over making a card.  I love making cards but this one did stress me out.   I am in a RAK group over at Creations by GillM.   It was the first time I had a theme card that I had to make.  Then I saw what a couple people received before I had even started my card…..that made me more nervous.

Our theme for April was depicting something typical from our Country….sounds simple…right?  Well it wasn't for me!!  And to top it off I realized that my partner was in England….needless to say I was late in sending it and I don't know for sure if she has it (I did send it over a week ago) but I was pretty impressed on how it turned out so I thought I would share it.

So with the first month out of the way I am eager to start my next month's theme….something pink!!

Keep an eye out as I will have a giveaway coming up real soon.  Want to know what you need to do…

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Snail Card – First Gypsy Card

I tried making a few projects tonight but was having a hard time making my vision happen.  Then I remembered a few projects I created on my gypsy but have never actually had the guts to try to cut them out.  Well tonight was the night I finally cut one out.

I have also decided to keep sentiments off of my last few cards so that I can add them as needed.

Until next time…have fun creating!!
