Just For You Treat Bag

I always enjoy making some sort of “treat holders” for basically anyone.  I am lucky enough to have a niece that is in a dance group.  So I make treats for her group every now and then.

This year we did not have as many kids for Halloween as we usually do…..so treats for the dance group.  Here’s what I came up with…

Matchbook Candy Treat

At the gender reveal party I wanted to come up with another “take away” for people that didn’t want the popcorn.  I came up with this matchbook candy treat.

Late Night Crafting Treats

The other night my son and I were in my craft room.  Surprise….we started crafting!!!  It was awesome.  Why am I so excited about it…he’s 18 years old.  I love spending time with both of my children and when I get to craft with them…well it’s a bonus.  He helped make these peppermint patties treats.  He took them ALL to a “gathering” he was going to that night.  He said his friends just loved them!

Celebrate You

My daughter celebrated her birthday last month.  Naturally I had to make her special gift card holders for her gifts.  When I make my gift card holders I usually do not close them up so that the recipient can reuse it.  This is no exception.  I also went with a simple sentiment as it gives my daughter many possibilities for reusing the gift card holder.

As per usual, I used the Envelope Punch Board to make the gift card holders.  The Envelope Punch Board is on sale right now.  You can check it out here.  Here’s the two gift card holders I made…

I also got a bunch of makeup brushes that she wanted and also had to make my own packaging for them.  Here’s what I came up with…

I used the 2, 4, 6, 8 templates.  These are super easy to make.  You can search for this box as there are many tutorials out there.

Starburst Treats Anyone?!

I loved how the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack and the Petite Petals Punch work so well together that I wanted to make another project.  This time I used the Rhinestones instead of the Pearls.  I created a little pocket, used a 2″ circle punch, the banner triple punch, and added some Starburst candies in a cello bag.

Updated Post-It Note Holder

I was in my craft room over the weekend working on some cute projects when I saw someone had commented on my blog.  She was looking for the instructions for a Post-It Note Holder I made awhile ago.  So I thought I would make this project for her and include all of the measurements I used.  So here we go…..

I started out with a piece of cardstock measuring 7 3/8″ x  3 1/4″.  I then scored the cardstock at 3 1/8″, 3 1/2″, 3 7/8″.  (Kind of hard to see the score lines in the picture.)

IMG_0376.JPG

Fold on all of your score lines using a bone folder.  Next I folded the cardstock using the middle score line which is the 3 1/2″.  Take your scissors and make two small cuts up to the score line.

Next I added some adhesive.  Make sure you keep 3 1/8″ as the front of the holder.  I put the adhesive between the 3 1/2″ and 3 7/8″ score lines.

Next peel of the backing and adhere down.  Next add some adhesive to the back of your 3 x 3 post-it notes and adhere to the cardstock.

Next step is to add the pen.

And then decorate the front.
