Golf Bag Card

I have seen a few different types of the golf bag made into a card.  I thought I would give it a try.  Again I did not put a sentiment on this card so I can add it later.

***Ok I was going to post this card late last night until I took another look at it in the picture.  It seems to be missing something….but what????  I thought I would put it out there and see if someone can help.  I don't want to "bling" it up too much as I was intending on giving it to a male….but what is it missing!!  Can someone please let me know?

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Happy New Year and My Pink Stamper Challenge!

I hope everyone had a great New Year's!  I know I did….so much so I didn't get much sleep at all!  I spent most of New Year's Day with my family and the rest of the time stalking blogs.

One of my "goals" for the new year is to challenge myself more creatively.  One thing I didn't really do last year was enter other people's challenges.  I saw them and saw the awesome things people created for those challenges but I didn't enter myself.  So for 2011 I am going to enter some challenges!!!

The first one I saw is My Pink Stamper.  This is for her design team.  She has only two spots open! The challenge is to make a card, scrapbook page, or other Cricut project with your favorite cartridge using her favorite colors Pink, Green, and Brown (other optional color of your choice).  So here is my entry…

The card is Pretty in Pink which is cut at 4-1/4 x 11, scored at 5-1/2 and 8-1/4, the Pretty in Pink layer is 5-1/2 x 4-1/4, Chocolate Chip layer is 5-1/4 x 4, Old Olive layer is 5 x 3-3/4.  The bird is from Create a Critter (page 65) and is cut out at 4".

The inside…Chocolate Chip is 4 x 1-3/4 and Whisper White is 3-3/4 x 1-1/2.

I used the ticket corner punch, stampin' dimensionals and the stamp set Cheep Talk are all from Stampin' Up!

Until next time…have fun creating!!

p.s. I will picking the winner of the Rockin New Year's Blog Hop tonight and will post it by tomorrow.

Quick and Simple Christmas Card

Just a simple Christmas Card tonight.  It has been a busy weekend with a hockey tournament and I am not feeling the creative mojo right now…so I thought it was better to try something simple.

Simple and kind of cute!  I am working on another simple Christmas Card for tomorrow since we have made it to the finals for the hockey tournament.

Until next time…have fun creating!!!
