Candy Card and a Giveaway

I wanted to make a simple shaped card and found this piece of candy in the Celebrations Cricut Cartridge.  That shape was with a few pieces of candy so I used my gypsy to hide the pieces I didn't want to use.

I used Mr. Cricut Crazy's Christmas, Christmas stamp set!

Now on to the giveaway…

I wanted to celebrate my birthday a little different this year and do some giveaways!!  I have some awesome guest designers to help me out this month so make sure you stay tuned to see their projects.

All you need to do for a chance to win is this…..leave a comment!!  I decided I am not going to use this month and instead I will write your name on a piece of paper, put them all in a hat and let my kids draw each winner.  If you would like extra chances of winning all you need to do is share it with your friends.  For every person that leaves a comment telling me you sent them you will get another entry.  Simple right!!

This week's giveaway is Mr. Cricut Crazy's Gus stamp set!!

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Simple Happy Birthday Card

Ok so I just started my blog and had no problem writing the first post!  Then I realized that I had to decide what to post next.  Who knew that could be such a challenge?!  Well in honour of my nephew's birthday I will post the picture of the simple card I made for his birthday.

The card stock is from Stampin' Up! which has now been retired (YoYo Yellow, Green Galore and Only Orange).  The Happy Birthday was cut out with my Cricut using the Celebrations cartridge.  The cute balloons are brads that I got long ago which seem to go with the card stock quite well.

Have fun creating!
