Happy Birthday Logan

I wanted to make something simple and quick for a young boy’s birthday.  I grabbed My Creative Time’s Gift Card Holder Die and Build a Banner Kit and came up with this.

This time I didn’t put a gift card in it….just straight up cash!

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Gift Card Holder

Just a quick post today.  I have been so caught up in watching the Olympics that I haven't made time to get in my craft area.  This is a super simple gift card holder using My Creative Time's Embossed Gift Card Holder Die, Anyday Bingo & Crossword, and Build a Banner kit.

Luv U Card

I find it amazing to be able to create one thing and then that one thing can lead you off in a whole other tangent.  I was having some creative challenges when I saw Pink By Design's pizza box she made recently.  You can see my creation here.  Well somehow that inspired me to create quite a few things that aren't pizza boxes.  I have made a few tags which you have seen a couple of them recently but I also created this super cute card.

So have you ever been inspired by one project that helped you create many projects?

Until next time…have fun creating!!!

My Cricut Craft Room’s Card Creating Tuesday

Card creating tuesday

This is one of the favourite days for the Design Team.  Who doesn't love to make a card!?!  Here is my card for today…

I used my gypsy for this project.  The apples are from Create a Critter Cricut Cartridge and were cut at 1.59 and the fence is from Wrap It Up Cricut Cartridge and was cut at 3.24.

I also used My Creative Time's Build a Banner Kit and Anyday Bingo & Crossword stamp set and hung the banner on some Divine Twine.

Here's a quick tip that I used for this card.  Both the apples and the fence are separately on two previous cards.  When I am creating a project using the cricut I tend to use scrap pieces to make my cuts.  If the piece is large enough (or if you want you can use a full size piece of paper) I make sure to fill up that piece with the cut outs.  So for the apples I had enough room to make six on one the piece of scrap papers I used.  I only used three apples for the first card that I was working on but was able to save the other three apples for a later use.  Same with the fence…I made two of them at the same time but only used one for the original project and I used the other one for this project.  It's great to have some cuts on hand!

Make sure you stop by My Cricut Craft Room to see what the other Design Team members have made for Card Creating Tuesday!!

Until next time…have fun creating!!
