Birthday Treats

This past weekend my sister and I had a surprise birthday gathering for my mother.  My sister made a beautiful cake which I will share later this week.  I made some treats for people to take with them as they left.  Here's a couple of pictures.

These are the treats I made for the smaller kids.

My Cricut Craft Room’s Card Creating Tuesday

Welcome to My Circut Craft Room's

Card Creating Tuesday

I wanted to share the card I made for my nephew's birthday.  He had a Harry Potter theme birthday so I thought I would try to make him a Harry Potter card!!

I used a lot of different cuts from the Paper Doll Dress Up cricut cartridge.  I cut all of the following at 4.06 inches on the gypsy….

Robe – Nativity 2 Blackout and Nativity 2-shift Blackout
Shoes – Pioneer boy Accessories 1
Pants – Promboy Blackout
Shirt – Promboy-shift
Tie – Promboy shift Accessories 1 (make one red, one yellow and cut strips from the yellow and glue to the red)
Hair – Caveboy Headwear
Broom – Witch Accessories 3

If you do a search on google you will find many different versions to create this!  Here is the link for the one I used.  You can also find out how to create Ron, Hermione and Dumbledore there.

I also used the Distressed Stripes embossing folder to give it a little interest and the Happy Birthday sentiment comes from Mr. Cricut Crazy's Birthday, Birthday stamp set.

Here is the cake my sister made for her son's birthday!

A Quick Belated Birthday Card

I needed a quick card for a friend's birthday but by the time she gets it will be past her birthday!!  I have made this card before and thought it was cute so I made it again using some "girl" colours.

Here is the card I made previously…

I wanted to thank all of the awesome talent in my Elephantastic Birthday Blog Hop!!  You guys did a fantastic job!!!  I may need to get some of the cartridges with the elephants that I surprisingly don't own!!  To all of you who left such sweet comments….thanks so much!  I read each and every one (like I always do)!  I will be picking the winner of the blog candy tonight.

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Happy Birthday – A Quick Tag

I needed a quick something to add to a birthday gift for a male. Easier said that done…right?!! Well since I know that the most of the male population tend to throw out all cards shortly after the event I didn't want to put too much into it. I made this quick tag using the Birthday, Birthday stamp set and Sand Glimmer Mist and Twine all from Mr. Cricut Crazy.

Don't forget….It's an Elephantastic Birthday Blog Hop happening August 20….there will be blog candy!!!

Until next time…have fun creating!!

A Masculine Happy Belated Birthday Card

I wanted to make a couple of birthday cards for the men.  I like most people have a difficult time creating masculine cards.  I used Mr. Cricut Crazy's Birthday, Birthday stamp set.  I think this one turned out pretty cute manly

My apologies for the picture quality…still having issues getting around so I had to take them in a different area tonight.

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Beer Mug Card

I needed a quick card for my brother-in-law's surprise birthday party.  My sister made this awesome cake with a beer mug on top (see below) so I thought I would make a beer card.

Here is the cake my sister made!!  How awesome is that!!
