Flashback to the Past ~ 2011

It's Design Team Monday with Mr. Cricut Crazy and we are sharing some of our favourite projects from the past term.  Now I have only been with this design team for a short while but I am no stranger to Mr. Cricut Crazy's awesome stamps.  If you haven't seen them before you can check them out here.  He has also just released two new stamp sets so make sure you stop by his store.

My Cricut Craft Room – Card Creating Sunday

Welcome to My Cricut Craft Room's Card Creating Sunday!!

For this card I decided to make a birthday card!  I used the Birthday Bash cartridge thanks to my friend Tanner a.k.a Mr. Cricut Crazy.  If you have followed my blog at all you will know that I love elephants and the elephant on the Birthday Bash cartridge is soooo stinkin cute!!

P1010618

This card is a regular A2 size card.  I cut the elephant and all the layers at 3 inches.  The sentiment comes from Mr. Cricut Crazy`s Birthday Birthday stamp set.

My Cricut Craft Room’s Card Creating Tuesday

Welcome to My Circut Craft Room's

Card Creating Tuesday

I wanted to share the card I made for my nephew's birthday.  He had a Harry Potter theme birthday so I thought I would try to make him a Harry Potter card!!

I used a lot of different cuts from the Paper Doll Dress Up cricut cartridge.  I cut all of the following at 4.06 inches on the gypsy….

Harry:
Robe – Nativity 2 Blackout and Nativity 2-shift Blackout
Shoes – Pioneer boy Accessories 1
Pants – Promboy Blackout
Shirt – Promboy-shift
Tie – Promboy shift Accessories 1 (make one red, one yellow and cut strips from the yellow and glue to the red)
Hair – Caveboy Headwear
Broom – Witch Accessories 3

If you do a search on google you will find many different versions to create this!  Here is the link for the one I used.  You can also find out how to create Ron, Hermione and Dumbledore there.

I also used the Distressed Stripes embossing folder to give it a little interest and the Happy Birthday sentiment comes from Mr. Cricut Crazy's Birthday, Birthday stamp set.
