I made this tea bag holder at a stamp club that I go to every month.  What a great idea and so simple to make.  You could also fit a gift card or some other small treat in there as well.

I am not sure the picture does it justice but there is a tea bag inside that I am soooo tempted to rip out and drink myself.

Sympathy Card – Shimmery White Pansy

Here is another card using the Shimmery Whitecardstock.  This idea came from Dawn Olchefske.  You can find her card and the video tutorial that demonstrates how to make the pansies HERE.  When you watch her video tutorial you will be surprised to see just how easy it is to create these beautiful pansies.

To make these pansies you only need the Butterfly Punch, some Elegant Eggplant and So Saffron re-inkers, Shimmery Whitecardstock and lots of water.  The sentiment is from the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set.  I have also embossed the Top Note Die using the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder and the Big Shot.

Watercolour on Shimmery White Cardstock?

Yesterday I showed you a card made using a little bit of Shimmery White Cardstock.  Today I want to show you a card made with Shimmery White Cardstock in a different way.

The stamped images come from the Cheers to Youstamp set.  I stamped the glass onto the Shimmery White Cardstock using Staz-On Ink.  Staz-On is a quick drying, permanent ink that is waterproof which makes this a perfect choice for this particular project.  I then used the Aqua Painterto watercolour the image on the card.  Shimmery White Cardstock is much heavier than the Whisper White cardstock which makes this great for watercolouring.

The flower is from the Tropical Party stamp set along with the Island Oasis Designer Series Paper (both are from the Summer Mini Catalogue).  The ribbon is retired 1/4" Grosgrain ribbon in Rose Red.
