Cute Birthday Gift

I had a birthday coming up that I needed a gift for.  Here’s what I came up with.  It’s a plastic box and inside is a small notebook (and some cold hard cash) with a pen.  The tag is made from various My Creative Time products.

Mustache or No Mustache??

I was playing around with some My Creative Time’s Dies and I could not decide if I liked this little character with or without the mustache.  What do you think?

I used My Creative Time’s What’s Growing On? and Just Tags sets.

Hockey Goodie Bags

For our hockey "social" last weekend we got all the kids a swedish stick handling ball…..ok the goalies got reaction balls but you get the idea.  I couldn't see just handing over the ball nor did I want to keep track of who got theirs and who didn't so I made these very simple goodie bags.

Breast Cancer Composition Books

I had a few mini composition books lying around and thought I would give them a makeover using a Breast Cancer paper stack and the Race For A Cure Charity stamp set from My Creative Time.

Guest Designer – Sarah Pink Cricut

Hi everyone! Sarah, here from Pink Cricut– and I am so honored to be guest designing for Karey today!

When she asked me if I'd help her this week, I was more than happy to help out such a caring, sweet and talented lady.

Today, I have a fun Halloween treat idea- that you can easily do for a classroom of children, your work friends or your neighbors.

The best thing about these little bags- is that you can get them pre-made at the Dollar Tree, and 10 come in a package! You can't beat that!

I decorated each bag with Teresa Collins Halloween paper, a Scalloped punch, Pink by Design Stamps, We R Memory Keepers embellishments, and Divine Twine.

I used embossing powder on the pumpkin, spider and hat images. Since, I didn't have orange embossing powder, I just mixed yellow and red before pouring it on the embossing ink. I think it turned out a fun marbled orange. 🙂

Now onto my projects…

I used the Love You A Latte cricut cartridge for the coffee cup.  This cup and all the layers were cut at 6.53 on my gypsy.  The sentiment is from My Creative Time's Gift Card Sentiments stamp set.

Isn't this cute??  I used the Bump In The Night cricut lite cartridge.  The monster was cut at 3 inches on my gypsy.  The sentiment is from Mr. Cricut Crazy's Halloween Town stamp set.  I had to stick the monster on an action wobble…..

For this next project I decided to use Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cricut cartridge and make this matchbox.  This was cut out a 4.88 on the gypsy.  I then used the Simply Charmed cricut cartridge to cut out the pumpkins at 1.59 on the gypsy.
