While surfing online I came across this cute matchbook style post-it note holder and tried it for myself. It was simple and easy. I will definitely create more of these. Here's mine…

I saw a card that Dawn from Dawn's Stampin Thoughts had made and I put my own twist on it. I loved it so much that we made this in our stamp club.

I have had this sort of design in my head for awhile now and then I was challenged to make a card like my Halloween card (you can see it here). I used the Snow Swirled stamp set, silver embossing powder on the tree and a lot of dazzling diamonds on the snowflakes. Originally I was going to use the dazzling diamonds on a couple of snowflakes….then it looked so pretty so I had to do them all!!! WHAT A MESS!!!! But I think it was worth it!
So how did I do? Was I close to the Halloween card?

My upline Wendy Fee has had this idea for awhile now and we got to play it out tonight! Wendy's idea was to use the Make a Monster stamp set on black cardstock using bleach to make it look like the monsters were trick or treating. The bleach did nothing to the Basic Black cardstock.
So tonight, after our stamp club, she thought about trying her idea with the Whisper White craft ink. Well within minutes there was paper, ribbon and stamps everywhere. As Wendy and I created these stinkin' cute monsters we couldn't stop laughing at the creations we were making. This was not a stamp set I had even considered getting but after tonight I definately have to rethink that!!
Cute eh? Sometimes the best cards are made on "the fly"!!

Well I finally got some time to sit down and create a little something. I was thinking about a Christmas project but couldn't bring myself to do it just yet. So I took another look at some ink and paper and knew it just had to be Halloween!! Here are a couple of simple treat holders I made tonight using the Batty For You and Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp sets with the Wicked Fun designer paper.
As you can see….no treats inside them yet. I don't want to open the Halloween candy too soon or I may not be able to stop myself. So you will just have to picture a little cello bag of small treats or maybe one larger treat in there.
