Matchbook Halloween Treats

I love this time of year when all the Halloween candy is out and as a crafter you can make some pretty cute things with it.

I have seen many a matchbook treat on youtube and thought I would make one of my own.

The cardstock was cut at 3” by 8 1/2”.

Score at 3 3/4” and 7 3/4”.

Pattern paper was cut at 3 1/2” by 2 3/4”.

Super simple and super cute!

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Cute Halloween Treats

I saw this cute post by Becky Roberts and just had to try it for myself!

I realized after I made them that I should have used double sided paper but oh well.  I am sure the people receiving them won’t even notice!!

Quick and Simple Post-It Note Holder

I wanted a little something to add to a package and thought of the post-it note holders I have made in the past so I figured I would make another.  This is sooo quick and simple!!!

And here is my cute stamp on the back…

Altered Box with 3×3 Cards

I have had this little box for quite awhile now.  It held rolls of stamps.  I wasn't sure what to do with it but knew I had to keep it.  So today was the day that I decided to alter it slightly.  After looking at it I decided to make some 3×3 cards to match.

Until next time… have fun creating!!

Christmas Gifts

Just a quick post tonight!!  I hope everyone had a great Christmas!! I thought I would share the little gifts I made for my co-workers.

Not the greatest of pictures…but I almost forgot to take one at all and had to get this at the last minute.

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Christmas Candy Sticks

Sorry I have been MIA!!  Between illness, sporting events that weren't local, and well Christmas…I have been quite busy and haven't had too much to post!   Tonight I got a chance to sit down and make some yummy Christmas Candy Sticks!!

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Make a Monster goes Trick or Treating

My upline Wendy Fee has had this idea for awhile now and we got to play it out tonight!  Wendy's idea was to use the Make a Monster stamp set on black cardstock using bleach to make it look like the monsters were trick or treating.  The bleach did nothing to the Basic Black cardstock.

So tonight, after our stamp club, she thought about trying her idea with the Whisper White craft ink.  Well within minutes there was paper, ribbon and stamps everywhere.  As Wendy and I created these stinkin' cute monsters we couldn't stop laughing at the creations we were making.  This was not a stamp set I had even considered getting but after tonight I definately have to rethink that!!

Cute eh?  Sometimes the best cards are made on "the fly"!!

Stamps: Make a Monster, Wicked Cool

Ink: Basic Black Classic, Whisper White Craft

Paper: Basic Black, Whisper White, Wicked Fun Designer Paper

Until next time…have fun creating!!!

Batty For You Treats!!

Well I finally got some time to sit down and create a little something.  I was thinking about a Christmas project but couldn't bring myself to do it just yet.  So I took another look at some ink and paper and knew it just had to be Halloween!!  Here are a couple of simple treat holders I made tonight using the Batty For You and Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp sets with the Wicked Fun designer paper.

As you can see….no treats inside them yet.  I don't want to open the Halloween candy too soon or I may not be able to stop myself.  So you will just have to picture a little cello bag of small treats or maybe one larger treat in there.

Stamp Set:  Batty For You, Teeny Tiny Wishes

Ink: Cajun Craze, Old Olive

Paper: Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Wicked Fun designer paper, Basic Black

Other: 1" Circle Punch, 1-1/4" Circle Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, 1/8" Black Taffeta Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals
