Father’s Day Card 2016

I thought I would share the card I made for my husband for Father’s Day.

The card is made with cardstock and Designer Series Paper from Stampin Up.

The die set is My Creative Time’s Stitched Apron Dies.

The stamp set is Jaded Blossom’s King of the BBQ.

Matchbook Mints

Kay Flipps recently sent me a message asking me for instructions to my Matchbook Mints I recently posted.  I thought I would try to do some sort of tutorial for her.  Here goes nothing…

Card stock measures 2″ x 5 5/8″.  Score on the long side at 1/2″, 3″, 3 1/4″.

Fold on the score lines.  In the picture below, I have stapled the “short” end.  You can easily add adhesive to your treat and attach it inside then fold the card stock over and tuck it into the end.

Or you can tuck in your treat before you staple the bottom.  This would also secure the treat inside.

All that is left to do is embellish the front cover.  Here are some ideas I came up with…

Heart & Star Treats

I guess I shouldn’t really call these “treats”…

These were made using the new Stampin Up Sweet & Sassy Framelits and the Star Framelits.  The sentiment comes from the Perfect Wrapped stamp set.  Super cute and super easy.

Brownie Treats

I recently got some individually wrapped brownies from Costco.  I made a whole bunch of packages for my nieces dance group.  Here is the project…

I would love to see what sort of “treats” you have made.  Send me an email or post on my facebook page.

The stamp set is from My Creative Time called Just Simply Live.  The paper is from Stampin Up in the Brights Collection.

Super easy and super cute!

Happy Birthday Shannon West!

For those of you that don’t know who Shannon West is….well I have posted about her recently.  You can check out that post here.  She started the #imbringingbirthdaysback movement.  Well she just had her birthday so you  know I had to make her a card.  Here it is…

The background is from the bonus stamp set from the April Paper Pumpkin kit.  The stamp set is Stampin Up Perfect Pennants.  I used the Banner Framelits Dies to cut it out.  I hope she likes it!

Happy Mother’s Day

I realize this is late but I did want to share the card I made for my mother for Mother’s Day.

I used the bonus stamp set that was included in the April Paper Pumpkin kit.  If you haven’t tried the Paper Pumpkin…well you need to. Who doesn’t like to get a nice surprise in the mail every month??!!

The Happy Mother’s Day comes from My Creative Time.  I thought it was perfect with the flower.  All the cardstock and paper comes from Stampin Up’s Bright Collection.

Late Night Crafting Treats

The other night my son and I were in my craft room.  Surprise….we started crafting!!!  It was awesome.  Why am I so excited about it…he’s 18 years old.  I love spending time with both of my children and when I get to craft with them…well it’s a bonus.  He helped make these peppermint patties treats.  He took them ALL to a “gathering” he was going to that night.  He said his friends just loved them!

Sparkly Birthday Card

I needed a birthday card for a girl that LOVES her bling.  After playing with ideas, here is what I came up with…

I forgot to take a picture of the inside (darn) but it does say Happy Birthday to you.  I also added a strip of the gold washi tape from Sale-A-Bration to the bottom of the card.

I am sure she will love it.
