Happy Stamper

Hello out there!

Sorry for the absence.  I didn’t plan to be away so long this time.  Unfortunately, I got quite sick which lasted over six weeks.  In fact, I am still dealing with a couple of things from the illness.  Just when I was getting better my daughter had a beautiful baby girl.  She is absolutely beautiful!!!  Now, I have been busy crafting but I have not been posting.  Why you ask?  Well I have debated if I want to keep the website up and running.  It is still something I am debating…but for now here I am.

This past weekend I went to Stampin’ Up Onstage in Toronto.  It was awesome!!!  I would be a demonstrator just to go to Onstage.  Now I love Stampin’ Up products so being a demonstrator and getting a discount is a no brainer.  Here’s a project I made for our table of fabulous women…

The rest of these I gave to the Stampin’ Up staff for Onstage.  I wanted them to get a little something too.  I forgot to take a picture of them but luckily Stampin’ Up Canada posted them on their Facebook page.

Until next time…have fun creating!!!

Stylized Birthday

This past weekend was my husband’s birthday.  We got him some hockey tickets which he loved.  I couldn’t just hand over the generic envelope with the team logo on it.  I had to make a super cute and simple envelope using the envelope punch board.  The stamp comes from Stampin’ Up and is called Stylized Birthday.

I think it turned out really cute.

Celebrate You

My daughter celebrated her birthday last month.  Naturally I had to make her special gift card holders for her gifts.  When I make my gift card holders I usually do not close them up so that the recipient can reuse it.  This is no exception.  I also went with a simple sentiment as it gives my daughter many possibilities for reusing the gift card holder.

As per usual, I used the Envelope Punch Board to make the gift card holders.  The Envelope Punch Board is on sale right now.  You can check it out here.  Here’s the two gift card holders I made…

I also got a bunch of makeup brushes that she wanted and also had to make my own packaging for them.  Here’s what I came up with…

I used the 2, 4, 6, 8 templates.  These are super easy to make.  You can search for this box as there are many tutorials out there.

Until next time…have fun creating!!

3 x 3 Christmas Card

Sorry for another Christmas project.  I think this is the last one….

Here’s a quick card I made to go with a gift.  I made a few of these and used a couple of them as a tag rather than a card.  The envelope was made using the Envelope Punch Board.

Making a box with the Envelope Punch Board

As mentioned in my last post you can make boxes with the Envelope Punch Board.  There are many tutorials on youtube but I saw a great tutorial by Pootles.  I decided to make these for our table setting at Christmas.  I put a few chocolates inside and they were enjoyed by all.

Christmas Gift Card Holders

Well look at this… I am posting again!!!

First I would like to talk about Paper Pumpkin from Stampin’ Up again.  I have received many messages about it.  For those of you that are on the fence…try it!!!  What have you got to lose.  You can sign up for one month and if you do not like it you can cancel.  The best option right now is to get a three month subscription because you save a few dollars but it also qualifies you for one free item from Sale-A-Bration.  Here is the direct link to purchase Paper Pumpkin.  If you have any other question, please message me!

Now on to some projects I was working on…

Have you ever noticed the gift cards are all on the larger scale now.  Well I had a few to give as gifts at Christmas and I wanted something a little prettier to put them in.  With the Envelope Punch Board from Stampin’ Up you can make any size of envelope you would like.  It has to be one of my favourite punch boards.  I find I use it all of the time.  It’s not just for envelopes.  You can also make boxes with it.  I made some boxes for Christmas treats and will show that on another post.
