Hockey Tournament Treats

We are in a hockey tournament this weekend!!!  I am rather excited as it gets me away for a couple of days!  I was trying to think of a quick and simple “something” I could make for the tournament.  I saw Pink by Design’s Canada stamp set and My Creative Time’s 3×3 Fancy Tri-Fold Card Die and along came the idea.  How perfect is this!!!

Inside I put some gum that is in a roll.

Treat Holder for the Christmas Tree

If you have followed my blog recently you would have seen a couple of treat holders I had made to put on my tree for when friends visit.  Today is another type of treat holder but these will be for the nieces and nephew.  I used the Stampin Up Two Tags die with Pink by Design's Flirty Girl stamp set.

Instead of a treat I have enclosed money!!  What child doesn't love money??!!

For those of you looking at this and wondering what kind of money is that?  Well it's Canadian money!  Each coin is worth $1.00 and they are what we call Loonies.

Make sure to leave comments on all the posts this week as I am giving away the Flirty Girl stamp set by Pink by Design.

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Guest Designer – Sarah from Pink by Design!!

Happy Wednesday!

Today I am guest designing for my friend, Karey- on her blog- Creative Craft Corner

She is giving away the Pink by Design Flirty Girl stamp set– and asked if I would make a project using this set 🙂

Well, of course I said yes–because I LOVE stamping with Pink by Design stamps!! 🙂 There are tons of sentiments to choose from, they are easy to work with- and I love that you can see exactly where you are stamping when you use one of the pink or clear acrylic blocks!

I thought I would make these CA-UTE elf legs into a card for my kids to give to their ELF, Chex.

Remember, you can make any shape into a card, by simply duplicating the shape, introverting it and then welding the pieces together. 🙂

I added jingle bells to the toes, and inked the edges- The KIDS LOVED IT, and I am sure Chex will too 🙂 🙂

Sour Cream Container Treat Holder and New Giveaway

Just a quick post tonight!!  Recently I made some treat holders that I am hanging on the tree for when friends stop by.  I decided to make a few more but a little different from the last ones.  These ones are the sour cream containers.  They are super easy to make!!  You can search online for these as there are numerous variations.  Here's what I made…

I used Create a Critter cricut cartridge for the monkey.  I just love that monkey!!  I also used a fancy paperclip from Wal-Mart to hang the monkey from.  The sentiment is from Pink By Design's Breast Wishes stamp set.

Make sure to stop by My Cricut Craft Room to see what the other Design Team members have made.

Guest Designer – Peggy Sue from ICrea8Cards

Hi! It's Peggy Sue from ICrea8Cards and I am so honored to be a guest designer at Creative Craft Corner! Karey has some awesome projects on her blog so be sure to check them all out!! I made this mummy treat bag to hold a few special treats for my own "mummy". Oh how she loves her chocolates!!

Mummy
I used cream colored paper and the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge to make a treat bag. I took the left over scraps of paper and ripped them into several long pieces. I then inked the edges with Tim Holtzs gathered twigs Distress Ink and adhered the strips onto the bag using my ATG gun. Next, I cut black circles for eyes and attached a googly eye to each. I tucked them into one of the strips so they were just peeking out. Instead of attaching a tag, I stamped the bottom strip with a sentiment from Pink By Design stamps. So easy, so fun!

Thank you Karey for having me today!!
