I tried my hand at making a notebook for someone who loves them.  This is only my second attempt at it and I am ok with how it turned out.  Now the ribbon obviously needs to be trimmed back a little but overall it looks good.

I think the person will like the inside of the book even better.

Date Book

Boy have I missed blogging!  Today I have managed to use a whole bunch of various things.  I created a simple “date” book.  It’s actually the first time I used my Cinch….thankfully it was super easy.

I can’t wait to add the important dates to help remind me and others in the family.

Welcome to the Mr. Cricut Crazy – Anything Goes Blog Hop

What a great theme!!!  ANYTHING GOES!  Life has gotten in the way of my creating and blogging lately.  I am slowly getting back on track so you will see more.

You should have arrived from the super talented Carolanne.  If you are new to my blog or happen to stumble across my blog you will want to start at the beginning with Tanner.

For my project I wanted a little note book that I can throw in my purse because lately I have needed to write things down quickly and I haven't had anything to write on.  I used Mr. Cricut Crazy's Simply Everything Vol. 2 and Office Office stamp sets for the sentiments.  You can find those stamp sets here.

So this is what my project started out as…

And now looks like this…

It's the perfect size for my purse.

Next on the hop is the oh so talented Jamie.

Here's the line up in case you get lost.

Notepad Holder and a GIVEAWAY!!!

Wow… I missed crafting!!!  It had to take a back seat for a little bit to tend to family matters.  As some of you know, my daughter was in a car accident.  Needless to say that took priority.  So I thought what better way to kick off a welcome back then do a giveaway!!!  Who doesn’t love a giveaway??!!

While up for many nights browsing some fantastic websites I came across this one that inspired my project for today.  She has a great tutorial on these.  Here’s my notepad holder.

Super cute and super easy to make!!

Now for the GIVEAWAY….

Instead of leaving a comment (although I do enjoy reading each and ever one of them) I was thinking it may be fun to do a linky party.  So leave your link below.  I will pick a winner Tuesday, March 27, 2012.

Breast Cancer Composition Books

I had a few mini composition books lying around and thought I would give them a makeover using a Breast Cancer paper stack and the Race For A Cure Charity stamp set from My Creative Time.

Pretty simple projects!  But I think they turned out pretty cute!

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Another Note Pad Holder

I decided to make another note pad holder but wanted to have it open from the bottom.  This time I also used a small belly band to keep it closed.

I used My Creative Time`s Honey Do List stamp set with some melon mambo cardstock from Stampin' Up.

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Note Pad Holder

I picked up these note pads at Wal-Mart the other day and wanted to cover them kind of like the composition books.

There are 5 note pads in the above picture.  I only used one.  Here's what it looks like now…

I used some new cardstock that Tanner aka Mr. Cricut Crazy sent me from Papertrey Ink called Lavender Moon.  First time using Papertrey Ink….shocking isnt' it!!  I also used My Creative Time's Honey Do List stamps.

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Composition Book Make Over

I picked up a few of these little notebooks at the dollar store.  They are great to keep in the purse for notes and such but they are kind of boring looking.  So I thought I would give it a little make over.  Here's what it looked like before…

And here is what it looks like now…

I didn't want to do too much on the front since it will be bumped around in my purse.  The sentiment is from My Creative Time's Inspiring Words stamp set.

Until next time…have fun creating!!
