Birthday Treats

It’s amazing how much time flies when you are living life.  I have been busy with my son’s hockey.  We were away in the United States for a hockey tournament which was a lot of fun.  We ended up winning the whole tournament and came home with the gold!!  Since we got home we have been very busy with hockey.  I can’t complain as I love watching my son play.

Now with all these design team calls my mind has been working overtime getting inspired.  Who knows maybe I will apply for some.  I am just happy to be crafting again.

I wanted to make a couple of girls some Birthday Treats to put a smile on their faces.  Here’s what I came up with…

I forgot to take a picture of the inside but there is a treat size skittles in each.

Matchbook Halloween Treats

I love this time of year when all the Halloween candy is out and as a crafter you can make some pretty cute things with it.

I have seen many a matchbook treat on youtube and thought I would make one of my own.

The cardstock was cut at 3” by 8 1/2”.

Score at 3 3/4” and 7 3/4”.

Pattern paper was cut at 3 1/2” by 2 3/4”.

Super simple and super cute!

Keep Calm and Eat Chocolate!!

First of all let me say just how frustrating it has been to have been crafting, taking picutres…..then unable to upload the pictures.   Well after downloading multiple browsers, deleting them, re-adding, updating, clearing caches and cookies….I FINALLY have a picture loaded.  So this post will be short and sweet before the picture disappears!

I made these cute treat holders.  The idea is from Inking Idaho (Becky Roberts).  You can find one I made ages ago here.

Date Book

Boy have I missed blogging!  Today I have managed to use a whole bunch of various things.  I created a simple “date” book.  It’s actually the first time I used my Cinch….thankfully it was super easy.

A Chocolate Treat For You

Here’s a simple treat using My Creative Time’s Card Sentiments Stamp Set w/3×3 Trifold Card Die and Jaded Blossom’s Chocolate Lover’s stamp set.  The treats inside are Smarties (Canadian smarties….they are chocolate).

Guest Designer for Jaded Blossom!!

Hello Jaded Blossom Fans!!!

It’s Karey from Creative Craft Corner!  I am so excited to help celebrate Jaded Blossom’s First Birthday by being one of the many talented Guest Designers.

For today’s project I used the Fancy Topper Die to create a treat holder.  First I cut 2 of the fancy topper die.  Next I scored one end of each die at 1 inch.

Next attach both ends together so it looks something like this….

I punched a couple of holes in the top, added some candy in a 3×4 bag, put some twine through the top, stamped “happy holidays” using the Winter Penguin stamp set, then added a cute character from Create a Critter 2 Cricut Cartridge.

Keep Calm and Eat Chocolate

I recently ordered some of the Jaded Blossom stamp sets and was surprised to see how quick they got to Canada!  I only had a short time to play with them but here is what I came up with… P1020094P1020092
