Happy Anniversary??

Before I get to my project I need some feedback.  I am lucky enough to be getting my own craft room!!  As exciting as it sounds, it’s also overwhelming.  From paint colour to set up…etc…..it’s a lot to think about.  I am looking for any tips or suggestions for those that have craft areas.  What do you like about your space that is working for you?  What would you change?  I appreciate all of your help.

Now on to my project….

A family member had a birthday coming up and as a paper crafter it’s hard to buy a card (not that I haven’t done it).  The problem is that this card was for a male.  I’m sure I am not the only one who has a hard time making cards for men.  Here is what I came up with…

Here is the inside…

And an envelope to match….

Not too bad if I do say so myself.

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Celebrate You

My daughter celebrated her birthday last month.  Naturally I had to make her special gift card holders for her gifts.  When I make my gift card holders I usually do not close them up so that the recipient can reuse it.  This is no exception.  I also went with a simple sentiment as it gives my daughter many possibilities for reusing the gift card holder.

As per usual, I used the Envelope Punch Board to make the gift card holders.  The Envelope Punch Board is on sale right now.  You can check it out here.  Here’s the two gift card holders I made…

I also got a bunch of makeup brushes that she wanted and also had to make my own packaging for them.  Here’s what I came up with…

I used the 2, 4, 6, 8 templates.  These are super easy to make.  You can search for this box as there are many tutorials out there.

Tri-Fold Gift Card Holder

Here’s part two for my nephew’s birthday present.

I designed a tri-fold gift card holder for the slightly bigger gift cards.  Here’s the front…

Here’s the inside…

I think he liked it a lot!!

Birthday Card

We celebrated my nephew’s birthday on the weekend.  I made him a cute card and envelope.

I used My Creative Time’s 3×3 Fancy Envelope Die, 3×3 FancyTri-Fold Card Die, Stitched Party Dies.

I think it turned out super cute and so did he!!

K is for…

My son’s girlfriend recently had a birthday while she was on vacation.  I wanted to get her a little something but wasn’t sure what.  So I got a gift card….but as a crafter you can’t just hand over a gift card….you have to dress it up a little.

I used the envelope punch board and made a custom size envelope.

Here’s what I came up with…

Super simple.

Happy Birthday Hannah!

Today is a friend’s birthday!  Believe it or not I had a hard time trying to figure out what I was going to make for this person.  Here is what I came up with…

I used My Creative Time’s Chalkboard Birthday set.

I think it turned out pretty cute!!  I think Hannah will like it too!

Super quick gift card holder…and a giveaway?!

I have a number of various gift card holders made up just in case I need them.  Sometimes the simple ones work the best and when it’s for a male you know where it will end up.  So I used the envelope punch board to make the gift card holder.

The stamp is from My Creative Time.

See….it fits a gift card perfectly.

Since it is Friday and I feel like I am starting to get back in the swing of things I thought I would do a giveaway.  All you need to do is leave a comment and a way to get a hold of you on this post.  I will pick a winner next Friday!  That’s it…easy peasy!

Until next time…have fun creating!!!

Happy Birthday Purse!?

When I made my  Happy Birthday Money Envelope I decided it needed a little something for it to go  into.  This is what I came up with.

There are many of these types of purses all over the internet.  I did alter mine to be a little smaller.

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Happy Birthday Money Envelope

Here is one of the projects I made using the envelope punch board.  It’s a little envelope that holds a little bit of cold hard cash.  I made this for a little girl for her birthday.  What child doesn’t love money?!

How cute is this!!

Until next time have fun creating!!
