Spooky Smarties

I wanted to make a little something for a certain someone.  I know they love Halloween so I thought I would make a quick and simple project using smarties.  These are the Canadian smarties…

Cute Halloween Treats

I saw this cute post by Becky Roberts and just had to try it for myself!

I realized after I made them that I should have used double sided paper but oh well.  I am sure the people receiving them won’t even notice!!

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Another Halloween Treat

Here’s another quick and simple Halloween Treat.  I used My Creative Time’s 3×3 Fancy Tri-Fold Card Die and Teeny Tag Die.

The treat inside is a peppermint patty.

A Halloween Treat

I have had the best intentions of posting more often but you all know how it works with the best intentions.  In fact I am already re-doing this post as somehow I lost it once already.  My big plan was to sit down Sunday night and set up my posts for the week.  Well that plan ended as soon as it started as I sat down to download my pictures only to find that the battery on the camera was dead.  So we shall start off the week later than expected.

Well on to my project….

I decided to make some quick treats for my daughter’s work.  Nothing fancy but these girls are going to have them open and eaten in record time anyways.

The girls loved them!!!

Guest Designer – Peggy Sue from ICrea8Cards

Hi! It's Peggy Sue from ICrea8Cards and I am so honored to be a guest designer at Creative Craft Corner! Karey has some awesome projects on her blog so be sure to check them all out!! I made this mummy treat bag to hold a few special treats for my own "mummy". Oh how she loves her chocolates!!

Mummy
I used cream colored paper and the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge to make a treat bag. I took the left over scraps of paper and ripped them into several long pieces. I then inked the edges with Tim Holtzs gathered twigs Distress Ink and adhered the strips onto the bag using my ATG gun. Next, I cut black circles for eyes and attached a googly eye to each. I tucked them into one of the strips so they were just peeking out. Instead of attaching a tag, I stamped the bottom strip with a sentiment from Pink By Design stamps. So easy, so fun!

Thank you Karey for having me today!!

Hi it's Alyssa from My Thoughts Exactly!! I made little matchbook Halloween treats!  I used a kit called Put a Spell on Me from Shop Pumpkin Spice (www.shoppumpkinspice.com).

I stamped the cute little guys on white paper and colored them in with colored pencil then cut them out by hand. I used my Big Shot and the Spellbinders Labels 8 die (the second size) to cut the fancy shape. The directions for making the matchbooks can be found in the Put a Spell on Me kit at Shop Pumpkin Spice. I stamped directly on the matchbooks using MTE stamps and white ink. (Little bags for treats also come in the kit).
