Hello everyone! Heather here from GreenScrapinMachine. I am so honored to be guest designing for Karey's blog. Today, I made a card using one of MrCricutCrazy's new stamp sets: Friends, Friends. Karey is going to be giving a set of his awesome sets away in a giveaway. Make sure you check out his website to check out all of his fabulous stamps.
December 8 2011
For this card, I used the Elegant Edges cartridge, this is the leaves button cut at 4 1/2 inches. The silhouette is from the Child's Year cartridge cut at 3 inches. Then I stamped For My Friend and tied a bow around the front. I hope you enjoyed this card. Have a great day! Thanks again Karey and I hope you had a great birthday!!!

Guest Designer – The Squeaky Scrapper!!!

Hi everyone, it's Sherri from The Squeaky Scrapper and I am so excited to be here today as your Guest Designer.  I understand that Karey is going to be giving away some blog candy from Mr. Cricut Crazy so I thought I would use one of his stamp sets for my project.

I used the Gus stamp set for both my image and my sentiment, isn't it just the cutest 🙂 Well that's all for me today, thank you Karey for letting my join in your fun this week!!

A Merry Little Christmas To You!

Today I had to share this super cute card my daughter made but first let me tell you how it came to be that she made this card.

My daughter was "bored" and wanted us to go out an do something like go to Wal-Mart.  I told her I needed to get some crafting done and posted on my blog since I had been busy getting things ready for my giveaways in December.  Well long story short she sat down at my craft table and whipped out this beautiful card in a short time.  Then to top it off she took all the pictures for me to put on my blog.  And in true teenage fashion she said…"there, now you have no excuse so let's go".   How can you resist that….so off to Wal-Mart we went.  Obviously I didn't get to post it last night but wanted to share it with you today.

Here are all the pictures she took of this beautiful card…

Didn't she do a great job!!!

Until next time…have fun creating!

Guest Designer – Peggy Sue from ICrea8Cards

Hi! It's Peggy Sue from ICrea8Cards and I am so honored to be a guest designer at Creative Craft Corner! Karey has some awesome projects on her blog so be sure to check them all out!! I made this mummy treat bag to hold a few special treats for my own "mummy". Oh how she loves her chocolates!!

I used cream colored paper and the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge to make a treat bag. I took the left over scraps of paper and ripped them into several long pieces. I then inked the edges with Tim Holtzs gathered twigs Distress Ink and adhered the strips onto the bag using my ATG gun. Next, I cut black circles for eyes and attached a googly eye to each. I tucked them into one of the strips so they were just peeking out. Instead of attaching a tag, I stamped the bottom strip with a sentiment from Pink By Design stamps. So easy, so fun!
Thank you Karey for having me today!!

Guest Designer – Alyssa from My Thoughts Exactly

Hi it's Alyssa from My Thoughts Exactly!! I made little matchbook Halloween treats!  I used a kit called Put a Spell on Me from Shop Pumpkin Spice (

I stamped the cute little guys on white paper and colored them in with colored pencil then cut them out by hand. I used my Big Shot and the Spellbinders Labels 8 die (the second size) to cut the fancy shape. The directions for making the matchbooks can be found in the Put a Spell on Me kit at Shop Pumpkin Spice. I stamped directly on the matchbooks using MTE stamps and white ink. (Little bags for treats also come in the kit).

Black – Recollections

Pattern – My Minds Eye Michievous

My Thoughts Exactly – Fright Night Phrases and Ghostly Greetings
