I wanted to share a couple of quick and easy gift card holders I have made recently.  I have since added an eyelet to the top with some ribbon to hang them from the tree but forgot to take pictures.

These were made using My Creative Time's Embossed Gift Card Holder die and the Anyday Bingo & Crossword stamp set.

Guest Designer – Emma from KatelynCo

Hello Creative Craft Corner fans! I’m Emma from I am so excited to be guest designing for Karey today.  Today is the 4th day of Christmas out of 12. I made a handmade gift bag for Christmas that is so simple to do. All you need is patterned paper, cardstock, a brown lunch sack, and adhesive.  So easy!

I used Christmas Cheer to cut the snowflake. The sentiment is from a Christmas collage sentiment paper. The torn pink paper is supposed to resemble non-traditional snow. After I decorated the bag, I put my gift in and tied it closed with ribbon. I used a single hole punch to punch two holes in the bag and then tie it with ribbon. This is perfect if you are running low on gift bags. I always have gift bags, so I don’t know why I chose to make this project.

Treat Holder for the Christmas Tree

If you have followed my blog recently you would have seen a couple of treat holders I had made to put on my tree for when friends visit.  Today is another type of treat holder but these will be for the nieces and nephew.  I used the Stampin Up Two Tags die with Pink by Design's Flirty Girl stamp set.

Instead of a treat I have enclosed money!!  What child doesn't love money??!!

For those of you looking at this and wondering what kind of money is that?  Well it's Canadian money!  Each coin is worth $1.00 and they are what we call Loonies.

Make sure to leave comments on all the posts this week as I am giving away the Flirty Girl stamp set by Pink by Design.

Until next time…have fun creating!!

Guest Designer – Sarah from Pink by Design!!

Happy Wednesday!

Today I am guest designing for my friend, Karey- on her blog- Creative Craft Corner

She is giving away the Pink by Design Flirty Girl stamp set– and asked if I would make a project using this set πŸ™‚

Well, of course I said yes–because I LOVE stamping with Pink by Design stamps!! πŸ™‚ There are tons of sentiments to choose from, they are easy to work with- and I love that you can see exactly where you are stamping when you use one of the pink or clear acrylic blocks!

I thought I would make these CA-UTE elf legs into a card for my kids to give to their ELF, Chex.

Remember, you can make any shape into a card, by simply duplicating the shape, introverting it and then welding the pieces together. πŸ™‚

Dec 14 2011

I added jingle bells to the toes, and inked the edges- The KIDS LOVED IT, and I am sure Chex will too πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

I used Pink by Design's Breast Wishes stamp set for the sentiment.

Candy Card and a Giveaway

I wanted to make a simple shaped card and found this piece of candy in the Celebrations Cricut Cartridge.  That shape was with a few pieces of candy so I used my gypsy to hide the pieces I didn't want to use.

I used Mr. Cricut Crazy's Christmas, Christmas stamp set!

Now on to the giveaway…

I wanted to celebrate my birthday a little different this year and do some giveaways!!  I have some awesome guest designers to help me out this month so make sure you stay tuned to see their projects.

All you need to do for a chance to win is this…..leave a comment!!  I decided I am not going to use this month and instead I will write your name on a piece of paper, put them all in a hat and let my kids draw each winner.  If you would like extra chances of winning all you need to do is share it with your friends.  For every person that leaves a comment telling me you sent them you will get another entry.  Simple right!!

This week's giveaway is Mr. Cricut Crazy's Gus stamp set!!
